Indonesia and Malaysia Enhance Port Connectivity

Summary

On 30 May 2026, the Indonesian Consulate General in Penang witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Collaboration between PT Belawan New Container Terminal, Mutiara Perlis Sdn. Bhd., and Penang Port Sdn. Bhd. in Perlis. The partnership aims to enhance logistics connectivity and regional trade between Sumatra, Northern Malaysia, and other Asian nations.
